The staff has become very efficient over the years at fixing rock walls. This collapse is caused by water freezing and expanding behind the walls. To repair, a larger section is removed and a stone layer for drainage is placed behind the wall.
The rocks are stacked like a puzzle at a 70 degree angle against the soil, giving the wall a little extra stability. Most will never even know the wall behind 3 green collapsed. Great job Luis and Nicholas!!
